Since 2018, Ranford Primary has been a Teacher Development School for both The Arts and Design and Technologies. As one of 35 Teacher Development Schools across the state, we share curriculum expertise and exemplary teaching and learning practice across schools, networks and professional learning communities.
We present high quality face-to-face and online professional learning for teachers in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia, as well as responding to specific requests for support. Presentation topics have included Primary Dance, Literature and The Arts, Aboriginal Perspectives in Design and Technologies and P-6 Integrated Design Projects, among others. Ranford will continue to offer a range of professional learning that meets the needs of WA teachers while also boosting the collective efficacy of Ranford teaching staff.
